Very sad news - sincerest condolences to family and friends. Had read about Tony from his earliest exploits but first met him on 74 Tour of Britain when he was sat at side of road waiting for his service crew and I was amazed such a tall chap had been so good in single seaters. Subsequently saw him at Silverstone and was impressed that a successful high level driver would still turn out for a club meeting. Then there was Goodwood where he showed off his skills yet again. To say nothing of his journalistic talents. Sadly missed. RIP
