I am still trying to digest this rude and shocking news, but listening to the memorial I guess it is indeed a sad reality.
Tim, I enjoyed the brief period I have known you as a colleague. I still have fond memories of our mission to Kenya in the course of the Gender Consultation, every moment was professional and yet stress free. We achieved all our goals so effortlessly because of your efficient coordination, since then I have come to count on you as a reliable collaborator for our gender agenda. We were working on the Zim gender analysis together, I am confident we will pull it through because, in your usual manner, you have effectively prepared the ground.
Beyond work, I fondly remember our discussions on our common passion of fish farming, you even made plans to visit my backyard farm in Nigeria, but hélas, that is not to be.
Rest In Peace Tim, and may the Good Lord grant your lovely family the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.
