My lasting impression of Tim is that, however much he had to deal with himself, he made time for people. Nothing was too much trouble. The last time I saw him was when I arrived at IoIC HQ for a meeting. Tim was working through a mountain of Awards entries. He welcomed me with a cheery smile and we had a lovely chat. Every time he picked up the phone he made you feel as if it was a pleasure to speak to you. Always helpful, friendly and interested in what you had to say.
A delightful man and a true gentleman. It has been a pleasure to know him and I am so sad to learn of his passing. He will be greatly missed.
My condolences to his family.
