Hi everyone
I am very sorry to be emailing with some sad news today, regarding one of our GC-Employment staff, Steve Green, who sadly passed away yesterday.
Many of you will know Steve, as he was previously the Lead ECC rep for the business unit and has been a valued member of GC-Employment since 2007. He worked on contracts such the East Manchester Job Shop, Salford Skills and Work, Work Choice and, most recently, the Work and Health team in Salford.
Steve was always guaranteed to bring a smile, with his huge character, was extremely kind and would do anything for anyone. He was absolutely dedicated to supporting and helping vulnerable people, both inside and outside of work, and there are countless instances of him going the extra mile to support our customers. He was an inspiration to many with his kindness.
Steve was very much part of the GC-Employment furniture and will be missed personally by me, and by many others in the company. Mark Hughes, Group Chief Executive, (cc-d) would also like to pass on his deepest sympathies to those that will be affected by this sad news.
Take care and stay safe everyone.
Kind regards, Michelle
