It was a great privilege to have been recruited by Sir Eldryd to establish a Medical Microbiology Link with the Kumasi Medical School in the early 1980s which led to over 3 decades of contact and involvement with THET. He was a true inspiration for all who came into contact with him and dedicated his life to improving healthcare in the most deprived communities. His is a sad loss to so many but he leaves an outstanding legacy.
