Eldryd has been a true inspiration to everyone in every sense of the word. I have been fortunate to have known, worked with and been motivated by Eldryd over many years in our Southern Ethiopia Gwent Healthcare Link’s activities. Later he was genuinely excited when we developed Wales for Africa Health Links Network and rigorously attended and contributed to our annual conferences. On one occasion, I was lucky to have travelled to Ethiopia with Eldyrd. I could feel every way where his heart and true passion lay – with people in rural underprivileged communities.
It’s a great loss for our world. My sincere condolences to Helen and the rest of the family.
