In 1998 I went to work for him in a special unit within the protection side of policing. I will be forever grateful for him getting me that job. He was a pleasure to work for. I remember the BBQs he and Debbie laid on at their home for the guys.
A very personable and generous man.
Simon you will be truly missed.
