This is for Silvia and the kids. Please accept my deepest condolences on loss of Sergi. We will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I had the privilege to know all your family. I fondly remember you and kids coming over at the office and us joking around to get the kids to start coding as we needed more folks to help their Dad. He leaves a lasting impression on us with his big personality and smiles. We will cherish those memories. I had sent this message to the team.
Dear team,
With a heavy heart I regret to inform you that our beloved team member Sergi Martinez passed away. This painful news comes as a shock to all of us. Our deep condolences to his family in such a tragic loss.
Sergi was like a brother to me, good friend, colleague, brilliant mind, leader, great father, husband, and an all-around genuine human being. In whatever role we knew him, he stood apart as someone special.
I first met Sergi when he was working in Singapore on Matrix deployments. His passion, work ethic and leadership qualities were astounding, leading me to ask him to join the team in Jacksonville in 2016. As part of the COE management team, he worked tirelessly to support our operations, customers, and the Matrix Platform. His contributions to Ground (GSN), CLL Solutions including projects like Turkey FTL and EU Crossborder are the driving force for our next generation of digital capabilities.
In addition to his devotion to his work and to the improvement of CEVA Solutions globally, Sergi always found time for his colleagues, his friends, and his family, his wife Silvia, and their two children Mariona and Oriol.
For me personally, I will miss my global travel partner, my fierce sounding board, and joy we shared in everyday small victories in our professional and personal lives.
His legacy lives on with his team members, in the Solutions he championed, and all the lives he touched. He will be missed by many, but never will he be forgotten by those who were fortunate enough to have known him.
Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers.
