Ayer fue una terrible noticia. Como un terremoto. Siento une parte de injusticia a ver tal hombre irse.
Conocí a Sergi hace un año pero pase mucho tiempo con él, colgando el teléfono a veces muy tarde, viendo vuestros niños brincar y colgándose a él mientras hablábamos.
Lo siento mucha y voy a guardar su memoria para siempre. Decía a mi mujer una vez que cenamos juntos en Marsella que es el arquetipo de persona que me gusta(ría) como amigo.
Todo mi corazón con vosotros en este momento terrible.

Dear Colleagues,
It is with great regret and saddens to inform you of the passing of Sergi Martinez due to a tragic motorcycle accident.
Sergi joined CEVA in 2008 and from that moment forward has been seen as a person with an incredible energy and determination to get things done. He had the unusual talent to identify the smallest of opportunities and engage with the people around him to capitalize on it.
His infectious optimism and positive attitude, pushed those he engaged with to go the extra mile and seek border crossing collaborations. For him there were no fights or conflicts but opportunities to work together towards a common goal.
We learnt from him every day, also outside of work. His passion on certain topics was surpassed by no one, we have lost a truly kind and generous colleague!
Sergi had only recently turned 40 years of age and has been surpassed by his wife Silvia and children Mariona & Oriol.
Our thoughts go out to his family and loved ones, as we are truly sorry for their loss.
A condolence register will be opened here Sergi Martinez where you can share your thoughts and prayers, which will be shared with his family at a later stage.
