From my earliest memory Satish uncle always celebrated life. His infectious smile lit up the room and a gathering. It was always a pleasure to be with him. His love for traditional Punjabi food and a particular partiality to the ‘Handi’ ‘Doli ki Roti’ and samosas invariably led to him regaling us with stories in history of Punjab and Multan. His love for history manifested in his writing. For us his memories are plentiful and every time fill us with warmth from his magnanimity and the love he bestowed on us. His will be sorely missed.
