Sarah Ford El-Mohandes

May 5, 1991 - April 12, 2021

In this space we remember Sarah. Sarah started her studies at the University of Surrey in 2018 to fulfil her desire of becoming a Paramedic. Sarah was a brilliant student, always ready to offer a contribution regardless of the topic; she was passionate about excellent care for all patients regardless of their circumstances. Sarah had recently taken on the role of Course rep and so becoming a voice for her cohort. She often met with the team to discuss how best to support students with the programme. To Sarah’s friends and colleagues, she will be remembered as a caring, compassionate and thoughtful person. Sarah embodied the virtues of a paramedic – compassionate, bright and with a wicked sense of humour.

Sarah, Worry led me to Google you, and Google led me here. I am heartbroken. You texted me that morning. You were a bright star and your friendship was a light to me. You did not deserve the world we live in and the world we live in never deserved you. I will never forget you
