Ruth Oluwafunmike Akinyoola was a devoted Christian, a loving and dutiful wife, mother and grandmother. A retired nurse, with special qualifications in midwifery and public health nursing, she worked full-time as a minister of the Gospel of Christ and as a pastor's wife until her passing. She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, cousins, lots of adopted children, extended family members, as well as members of local church assemblies, who were very dear to her.
