It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Richard, a cherished colleague of Ridder and a highly respected member of our organization. Richard was an exceptional individual who brought a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every department he worked with. He was known for his professionalism, his kindness, and his unwavering commitment to excellence. Throughout his time with us, Richard played a key role in our organization. His leadership and guidance were invaluable. But it was not just his work that made Richard such an integral part of our organization - it was also his kind and compassionate nature. He was always willing to lend an ear, offer advice, or simply share a smile. He was a true inspiration to everyone who had the privilege of working with him. Our thoughts and condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Richard thank you for everything you did for us.

Ik heb met Richard verschillende projecten bij Ridder mogen uitvoeren. Hij was altijd vol passie en energie. Ondanks de drukte oprecht geïnteresseerd in de collega’s en even tijd maken voor een praatje, waarmee hij snel in verbinding was met mensen om zich heen. Dank voor de mooie tijd en inzichten, die je mee hebt gegeven. Mijn gedachte gaan uit naar u en uw familie. Veel sterkte met het geven van een mooie plek van een prachtig mens. Erwin Schalkx

Richard was mijn direct leidinggevende waar het plezierig mee samenwerken was; betrokken en snelschakelend hebben we samen een hoop van de grond gekregen. Hij vroeg me altijd hoe het ging en hield goed rekening met het welzijn van iedereen. Omdat ik in China leef zagen we elkaar voor het eerst in persoon in februari. Een gekke gewaarwording als je elkaar al 1.5 jaar kent van online gesprekken. Het bevestigde bovenstaand beeld. Hij bood direct aan om me te helpen met het ontvangen van een Chinese delegatie en schreef me na afloop nog een fijn bericht over de goede organisatie. Die dag hebben we elkaar voor het laatst gesproken; hij was net terug van vakantie in Spanje en vertelde me met een grote glimlach over hoe geweldig het was geweest. Zijn professionaliteit, positieve instelling, en betrokkenheid zal ik missen. Heel veel sterkte gewenst aan Richards' familie in deze moeilijke tijd.
