Raghu Hariharan

January 5, 1970 - December 18, 2020

It is with great sadness that we share the news that Raghunath (known as Raghu) Hariharan passed away on Friday 18 December 2020. We would like to celebrate the life of this very special man; an adoring husband, best friend and soulmate to Deepali and devoted father to Freya and Sanat. Raghu was also a loving son to K. Hariharan and Radha Hariharan and brother to Kalpana Srinivas and Kavitha Hariharan. He will be cherished and deeply missed. Raghu touched many people's lives all over the world, and his legacy lives on. We invite you to share your memories of him with friends and family through this memorial site.

I only met Raghu in person somewhere in 2018, though I'd heard so much about him. And then again at a fun, fab, New Year's 2020 brunch in which we all laughed through a sunny two hours + of delicious food, exchanging info on Game changers (Raghu I think strongly recommended), kids quirks, living in different countries and mailing out international food parcels. How little we were to know of the year ahead and this devastating loss. My impressions of meeting Raghu for the first time, in no particular order: "Smart guy! And fun! And decent! And easy!! and not at all boring!! or conceited" In short, a unicorn - the sort of mid-life friend you would want to make the effort to know better. Deepu, my deepest condolences and hugs to you, Freya, Sanu and the whole family. May his memory be a blessing.
