I was soo delighted to meet Tony in Doha, Qatar in 2013. To me meeting Tony was just meeting a family member. Tony is a father figure to me. Tony has changed my life. Since 1996 when I first met Tony at SOAS, every year around this time I receive a message from Tony in the first day of the month of Ramadan with good wishes for the fasting of the Holy month. This year it hasn't arrived and I was waiting for it, because it meant a lot to me. Instead, I received a phone call informing me that Tony passed away on the second day of Ramadan.
