A few years ago my husband Andy and I decided we'd like to explore that side of the country and dropped in on Phillippa & Billy at their house. We are also cat people and at that time they had Biscuit, a huge beast with an equally huge personality. Phillippa was a bit concerned that he would have Andy's arm off but my husband is a bit of a cat whisperer, and amazingly got away with stroking him, which Phillippa was equally surprised and relieved at. We sat in the back garden chatting, Andy was still smoking roll-ups at that time and he threw his finished stogie into the chiminea, at which point Biscuit strolled over to it, put his paws on the opening and his head inside the chiminea. Phillippa was in stitches at this; "what on earth is he doing?" she said. Ummm, smell that baccy....
