He was a lovely man - a real gentleman - and we spent time talking (amongst other topics!) about music, which is my field, and he was always interested to hear what concerts I was doing or had recently done. I used to take my dog to visit which he much appreciated! I would have loved to have got to know him when he was younger as he was a man who had clearly led a very interesting life.
