I will always remember Pete for his helpful and caring nature and radiant smile. He would always have time to help and support his colleagues, no matter how small the problem. He would never be annoyed at hearing me say, 'Peeeeeteeeeee' across the room, knowing it was a time I needed his wizardry on Excel or his knowledge of NWAS and it's inner workings. We shared a lot of laughs, including nights in Manchester and Christmas parties, and he was always there with a story or anecdote to share, especially if it was about skiing! I still hope I make it to the snowy slopes, even if it is just to watch, and when I do I shall raise a hot chocolate and toast to Pete! A huge loss in more ways than one
