We extend our heartfelt condolences to the family on the passing away of daddy Abidakun. I (Akolade) had the opportunity to meet daddy Abidakun in June of 2017 when we paid mummy and him a visit. The visit to their home was a memorable one for me because we had some fun times with them; we enjoyed some good food prepared by mummy and while waiting for the food, daddy was engaging me with words of wisdom, and we were switching from one topic to the other: American/Nigerian /Politics/ Career prospects / and many more which I found very refreshing after such a long drive. Throughout our encounter he was showing me some real love and caring, the hospitality gave me a sense of belonging to the family and since then my family and I have been keeping this experience alive as we never missed catching up on occasions to discuss matters arising and ask for each other’s wellbeing The first time I (Ranti) met daddy was back in 1996, I’ve known him to be loving, caring, thoughtful and when you call him over the phone he typically begins with prayer, then words of advice and end with “Alafia ni fun yin o! ". I am so glad I knew him, I believe that he is now resting peacefully with God, he would be missed. We were saddened to hear of the death of our beloved Daddy which happened last year. He was a loving and caring man, and we know he would choose to remain here if he ever had to decide but God knows the best. We love you but God loves you more, May your gentle soul rest in the perfect peace of God. We pray that the grace of God will abide with your family as they go through this tough time Goodbye!
