Olawale Onigbode

January 25, 1968 - January 7, 2021

We have never known a man so simple, so unassuming, and yet so focused like Olawale. He was a humble man and a friend to all. He was always about the solution. He was a man of peace and generosity, almost to a fault. He was ever so ready to help. Class didn't have a role in his relationship with people, as he related freely with all and sundry. He was a leader by example. Wale was a great inspiration in the Christian faith. He was a Christian in words and in deed. He gave his all to the work of the church. To lose him just like this still confounds us, but we give all the glory to God, who knows best. Rest on, beloved brother and friend.

Hmmm, I am sincerely hoping someone will wake me up from this dream or atleast hear that you are back to life just like Dorcas of Bible days. But we take solace in the TRUTH that you are in a better place that you have always laboured for because when Jesus (in the form of brethren) was in the prison, you visited, you fed the hungry and cloth the naked. You lifted the down trodden and you supported Godly visions of many who couldn't repay you. Yet you were so humble and friendly, always beaming with smiles that produce hope and solution. Rest on in the bossom of the Lord. We will surely see your smiles again on the ressurection morning. Adieu Pastor Wale
