It means so very much to me to read about the impact that my father had on you, both professionally and personally. My father, undoubtedly, was a proud and passionate academic, but also one that was rather humble/silent about his professional achievements at home. This meant that growing up, I knew very little about my father’s work and even less so about the marks that he was leaving along the way on the individuals that he collaborated with. Reading your contributions here fills my heart with peace and joy, and I truly hope to gather as many of these anecdotes, photographs, videos, and fond memories that you might have of my father here to help me process the greatest heartbreak of my life.
