I remember the first time we met - my very first day at Hillsong when the Birmingham campus opened its doors. It was on a cold winter morning when I walked into the church building; I did not know anyone then. Your very big smile when you saw me made me feel warm and welcomed. By the end of the service I felt like I had a friend at church already! I met with you and your sister again and we had a lovely chat, and got to know a bit more about each other. Your exuberance, humility, warmth and smiles were remarkable. Am sure you now know what effect you had on people who attended church for the first time, if you didn’t know before. That was your Ministry Millie. Your body language ministered without you speaking! You touched so many people without you knowing! Am sure you had a great welcoming party in heaven, with lots of angels clapping and smiling just the way you did for us here. You have taught me a lesson I never realised until your passing - that my attitude/actions in my everyday life is also my ministry.
You will be greatly missed my sister! It was a privilege knowing you, albeit for a short time. I pray that you Mum, sister and the rest of your family find peace, hope and comfort in the love of Jesus Christ. Rest in perfect peace Millie! Always in my heart ❤️
