I remember this night being one of the first times Michael and I had been left to "chat" ourselves. Being Aimees younger sister, we didn't have much in common, or many of the same interests so I remember us awkwardly talking about cider for a couple of minutes and then we were saved by Aimee blethering on about something. Not too long after, Michael became an official member of our family as Aimees fiancé and I just knew that he couldn't enter into the family without a little bit of a roast from me since that's what I do with my sisters. To my surprise Michael gave as good as he got and here was the start of a beautiful repitore of banter and roasting and jokes and just getting on at each other. I wouldn't have it any other way, I never had a big brother but Michael showed me exactly what that was to have. Sometimes a pain, sometimes hilarious, always clever and witty about it. I miss Michael more than I ever knew I could.
