Melanie was one in a million and I feel so privileged to have had her as one of my closest friends. As a headteacher she was inspirational - talented at all she turned her hand to and compassionate towards every child and family that crossed her path. As a mother she was the perfect role model to others and her children are the living proof of this. As a friend she was simply ‘the best’ and then will treasure forever the memories of the fantastic times I spent with her.
