Maureen Joyce Jones (nee.Broadhurst) Born 05.05.48 in Sioux Lookout, Ontario Canada to Mr. and Mrs. Philip and Donalda Broadhurst,. Maureen transitioned to spirit quickly and peacefully in Gore, Aotearoa (New Zealand) at 9:45am (NZST) Monday 22.07.2024. Maureen's husband of 52 years was by her side when she passed. "I felt it when you left me, I felt my heart break in two. One piece I have with me, the rest you took with you." -Wayne. Mo is the beloved wife of Robert (Wayne), Mother of Samantha and Melanie, Grandmother of Raven & Zoe, Sister of Peter, Barbara and Robert Aunty and Great Aunty of many nieces, nephews and great Friend to many. In peaceful rest, you now repose, Underneath the starry evening's prose. Your adventure-this time,this place has reached its close, Rest in grace, at the roots where the tree of life grows.

I can remember being at creche (pre kindergartenapprox. 3-4 yrs) and during nap time , i got woken up and told I was getting picked up because my mums work (Reinhardts Vinegar) was on fire! I was terrified id lost my mum. 46 years later I got that same feeling...but this time it was real. Im devastated and already miss the 'North star ' of our family - guiding us through our adventure called 'life'. No matter how many times we get 'off track or lose our way, Mum is always there to usher us back on our paths whatever we decide that is without judgement or conditional acceptance. Kindness, understanding, stoicism, empathy and nowse. I love you with all of my broken heart mum. Love Sam xo
