It was such a shock when Clara called me to tell me of Matthias' passing. He was such a warm, kind and gentle person, it's hard to think that he is no longer with us. I have very fond memories spending time on the rig with Matthias and us both trying to stay awake in the logging truck. We were working through the night as we were both desperate to see the results of the pressure testing tool. We went though moments of sleeping standing up and hysterical laughter, helped along by lots of banter and biscuits. I will always remember him and his wonderful smile.
