Shortly after I met Matt we decided to leave the office promptly one night to have a couple of beers on the way home, but we got stuck in a lift at the NCP car park at Spinningfields. We were rescued after a while and still fulfilled our mission at the Eagle. Whether purely social or business related, it was always a pleasure to meet up with Matt. Great company, kind and generous. Our thoughts are with Sue, Christian, Annie and all Matt's family and many friends. He will be missed enormously.
