We lost a friend, a colleague and the world lost a pure soul. Everyone remembers the first time they met Marina, she stuck out like a sore thumb among gray suits - her quirky style, dreadlocks, viral charm. She joined UNDP Croatia in 2012 as an intern. In these short 10 years she has left a deep mark in the organization: she co-founded the AltFin Lab, and from there went on to test and grow UNDP’s approach to crowdfunding, having supported campaigns around the world, established the Crowdfunding Academy and worked with the Bureau of External Relations and Advocacy on mainstreaming crowdfunding throughout UNDP. She lived how she left us: fearless, intense and relentless to do more.
