In tribute to the memory of Mr. Mamadou Sarr, former Director of CorpsAfrica/Senegal (2016-2021)
It is with heavy hearts and profound sadness that CorpsAfrica/Senegal announces the passing of its former Director, Mr. Mamadou Sarr, who led the program with commitment and vision from 2016 to 2021.
A man of many dimensions, Mr. Sarr was much more than a manager: he was an inspiring leader, a thoughtful mentor, and a tireless builder. Under his enlightened leadership, CorpsAfrica/Senegal made significant progress and durably anchored its mission in service to Senegalese communities. His human-centered approach, combined with remarkable professional rigor, enabled hundreds of volunteers to thrive and positively impact the areas where they were deployed.
Through his quiet charisma and wisdom, Mr. Sarr knew how to unite energies and embody the values of solidarity, humility, and sharing that are dear to CorpsAfrica. Beyond his management skills, he will be remembered as a man of integrity, deeply devoted to the youth and the development of his country.
During this time of mourning, we extend our deepest condolences to his family, loved ones, friends, and to all who, like us, were fortunate enough to cross his path and benefit from his light.
May his soul rest in peace. His legacy will continue to inspire our work.
