Extending condolences to his wife Aunty Stella (Janey) and children (my cousins) on his passing. We have benefitted much from his wisdom and encouragement. He was the first to encourage me to never sacrifice sports for academics and I've proven, just as he predicted, that the two can go hand in hand to produce a win-win combination. Since then, as a teacher, I encourage students to do the same. I also marvelled at his insights on current affairs and his ability to recall events in the past with such precision. Whether it be politics, religion, military or sports, he was abreast of them all, and saw links and overlaps that the average person won't notice. He was such a joy to be around and took great delight in challenging and testing our wits. He will be missed. RIP
