Words can't express how sad I am to learn that you are no longer with us Lorna, but I'll try. You made me feel so welcome and valued from my very first day in Revs and Bens. Always willing to help answer a query no matter how daft or how busy you were. What struck me was your welcoming smile and your natural ability to put everyone you met at ease. Your warmth and genuine interest in people and their lives was integral to you being you. I remember so many conversations about holidays you'd been on, restaurants you'd visited and would highly recommend and recipes you'd try and your generosity in sharing them with your troops. ( I was lucky enough to receive one of your delicate tomato bunnies). Your enthusiasm rubbed off on everyone, but I especially hold dear those times when I'd tell you about my own escapades or stories and you're response would be "You're aff yer heid, Bessie" said with that cheeky glint in your eye. It goes without saying you were a hugely valued colleague and friend. I'll miss you. My thoughts are with David and your family, all of whom I hope will take comfort in seeing how much you mean to so many people.
