Lori was the reason I joined UCL; she was the most amazing boss, mentor and friend. I loved the time we had together, and feel privileged and fortunate to have worked so closely with her over the last decade. Every day was a whirlwind, and usually fun; she was always several steps ahead of everyone, and we all wanted to follow and go where she was headed, invariably in new directions to do things differently and better. She was a rare natural leader. I’ve learned so much from her, for which I will always be grateful. Rest in peace Lori, we will miss you and love you always.
