Dear Mrs. Kim and family,
I am so sad to hear the news. Dr. Kim was a wonderful scientist and teacher. While I served as Chair of Pediatrics at Johns Hopkins he was always a supporter on behalf of our missions. He led an outstanding division having trained or recruited most all of the faculty. I have so many wonderful memories including his constant smile, his frequent ask of "how are you doing?" and his kindness. His legacy includes his research discoveries and all the people he touched: colleagues, trainees, children and families. With deepest sympathy,
