John and I worked together on inflenza projects for many years. This was always fun. John had an amazing broad interest in what was going on in society and always had stoties and opinions to share. The last time I spoke him, we were eating an icecream together and he had a whole story about the situation in the UK. It feels unreal that I will never see him again. I wish all strengts for Dineke and their children in this difficult and sade time.
