I will miss John very much.
After our very first meetings when John came aboard I knew things were going to get even better here at IFG under his leadership. He had a positive way about him and he very quickly set the tone of being the best in the industry and ensuring what we do is all about the students and clients we serve.
I will miss John’s dry comedy, the funny spin on something otherwise negative, and the manner in which he flipped an issue or an idea you raise as a job you (me) should to take on. In his words, “okay, what are you going to do about it?”
I would like to thank John, again, for supporting and guiding me over these last years. For helping make IFG a wonderful place to work, and a place in which supports individual growth.
I got to enjoy a few beers with John over the years and we had some good ‘afterwork’ times with fellow colleagues at company functions. John appreciated the importance of gathering socially after work, and recognising hard work in the form of awards. I personally enjoyed spending time with John at these functions, and occasionally enjoyed drinks with him after last orders!
You were awesome John, one of the best! And I will miss you dearly. My interactions with you have made me a better person and for that I must thank you.
You may not be here, but you most certainly are not forgotten. Cheers to you, and condolences to Lisa, Daisy and Finn. x
