It’s with the most profound sadness and regret that I join my fellow live event professionals in mourning the truly unbelievable and untimely passing of our dear friend and colleague, James Glasby.
An intensely private and personal man, I’m not sure James ever realised how deeply loved he was by those lucky enough to become close with him, or the impact that he made on all who had the honour to work along side him.
Known to most of us purely as ‘Glasby’, not only has this hugely talented and professional technician, clown, film buff, and long term friend, been taken far too young, but with a timing that is as cruel as it is unexpected.
I’m certain I speak for us all when I express my sincere and heartfelt condolences to James’ family.
