I had the absolute pleasure of getting to know Isaac as a friend and music therapist. Of all of the music therapy clients I have served, Isaac was one of the most memorable because of his deep connection to music of all kinds. It was so much fun getting to "jam" with him and family, singing everything from Eighth Day to Sesame Street, and everything in between. He was a great sport, open to almost anything I had up my sleeve. We did some songwriting together, with him making choices about song lyrics and getting involved in singing and playing them from week to week. There were times when he wasn't in the mood for much, but it was always a joy just to spend time with him. I remember Isaac so fondly -- such a special neshama with so much personality and strength.
