Honorable Justice Oluyemisi Adelaja (Née Ilori) was a distinguished Nigerian jurist born on September 24, 1965, and called to the Bar in 1991. Following a distinguished career as a Magistrate in the Lagos State Judiciary (beginning in 1998) and serving as the Chairman of the Magistrate Association of Nigeria (Lagos Branch), she was elevated to the position of a High Court Judge of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, in 2021. Justice Adelaja was celebrated for her exceptional character, defined by unwavering Integrity, Compassion, and Excellence, and her dedicated service to the nation and the church
