May 9 National Sleepover Day is a day to celebrate the amazing sleepovers that have been a way for friends to bond for decades. On National Sleepover Day, we can relive the midnight bonding with friends. From a young age Hana and Khurram enjoyed sleepovers at friends houses or at a relatives house. Sleepovers usually meant having a special time and doing something special. Up until late teens Hana and Khurram had sleepovers at our home for birthdays and for New Years Eve and New Years Day. It meant games, balloons, piñatas, gifts, a lot of fun food and pop. It meant late nights and mornings. It meant a lot of people in a small space. Most of all it meant fun. If it was nice out it meant fun outside like water balloons. As an adult Hana still liked to have friends sleepovers. Hana loves people and being around people. She loves to celebrate others and enjoy positive events. I love you Hana. I miss you and wish you were having a sleepover at my house.
