On this day Hana was sitting in her room in my house learning about Cultural sensitivities. I love that my children took what they learned from me and my family about culture and continued to grow as our society increased their awareness and understanding. I loved learning from Hana and all that she learned from her studies and interactions with others of differing cultures. I continue my work with social justice and advocating for others of all cultures while carrying what I learned from Hana in my heart and head. I love you Hana. I miss you and wish you were still here working towards equity for all.
