HRH Prince Philip was a larger than life character who added so much coluor and interest to the monarchy. His loyalty and sense of duty is an inspiration to us all. All our thoughts are with the Queen who has lost her stalwart companion and support of seventy years. I am sure all in our village will join with the country in mourning his loss.
