Nearly 50 years has spanned since we first crossed paths with Gordy at Castleford Tennis Club.
A great ‘Cas lad’ (though me, Jenny, and him were from Airedale!) he was always so friendly, kind and above all a fashion icon at the Club, those flared Jeans were a wow!
My dream holiday was to visit Australia, dreams do come true and it was made even more special by seeing Gordon and Tes out there and their wonderful family home and life they had built.
RIP Gordy your life touched many people who feel so happy to have known you.
