Geoff made me very welcome me when I joined the Society 15 years ago. He was always approachable and was a kind man; it was a pleasure to be in his company when our refereeing paths crossed and at Society events.
I had the fortune to work with Geoff for a short while by supporting him in his role as Honorary Secretary - a job he did with great distinction.
