I have known Geoff for more years than I can remember. We spoke often on a Monday morning he in his role as Society Secretary and me as the Lancashire Disciplinary Secretary. I was lucky enough to go to South Africa with him in 2002 and remember with affection his wonderful company. I will miss his wisdom and humour RIP old friend.
