Dennis and I have known Geoff on and off for the past 50 years. I was a work colleague at ICI for a few years but we became friends when Dennis took up Windsurfing and joined the Icicals Windsurfing Section. We had many fun weekends away windsurfing all over the country staying in tents, although I recall Geoff and his wife Lyn preferred the local B & B! A few years down the line and Dennis took up golf. This renewed our friendship as Dennis and Geoff were both members of Macclesfield Golf Club and the Hawkestone Golf Society. Dennis and Geoff enjoyed many trips away with the society travelling together and sharing accommodation which was now more substantial than a tent! We were pleased to welcome Geoff for many stays at our home in Spain, when he could fit it in around his many Rugby commitments. We will always remember Geoff as a true gentleman and good friend and not a bad cook. RIP Geoff, you will be missed.
