He would jump up from his chair as soon as he saw you coming into the hub to see how he could help you. He provided superb support and guidance to us all but especially to programme directors, module leaders and of course our students. He always focused on them and helped them however he could, often going out of his way and staying behind to sort out problems for them. He gave such attention to detail and offered many ideas about how we could do things differently. Gareth was an inspirational colleague and he will be very badly missed in the Business School. Our thoughts are with all his family and friends.
