Dear Gail
Present in our lives for many decades and always with a welcoming and lively conversation with much humour.
Gail was very active in our establishment of the Buderim Private Hospital as it was then known. As founders, with my husband James Birrell the hospital architect, Gail provided us with her invaluable expertise and that of her colleagues. It was with her guidance that we established the equipment schedules and there were many essential design elements discussed which were incorporated in the establishment of this facility on the Sunshine Coast.
Apart from that we shared many festive and fun filled occasions with the ubiquitous glass of white wine.
A truthful and loyal relative to us and mother to her adored Meaghan.
A life well lived in the service of others with a keen interest in and dedication to her own understated achievements in healthcare.
Thank you, Gail. In loving memory.
