When I think of Gail I think of such a amazing, loving, generous woman with a hilarious, little bit bent sense of humour! (My favourite humour of all!)
I’m so bad at remembering particular memories but when I think back on my whole life, that I remember anyway, Gail was always there for me.
She took me under her wing along with Katie and Becc and treated us as we were her own.
Every time I stayed with Gail and Megsy, Gail would shower us with gifts of hilarity, love, compliments, delicious food, drinks,videos, take us clothes shopping, even trips away from Melbourne. I remember my first time riding in a limousine and feeling like we were the richest people in the world!
Probably the first and last time I ever did that.
Whenever I was upset about anything Gail would sit quietly and listen to me, support me fully and then give me her wisdom and advice…
It meant a lot to a young girl I can tell you now.
Then after all that she’d think of something hilarious or crazy and mostly rude to cheer me up, which would always work.
