Our beloved colleague Frans Utt passed away. We will miss him deeply! We would like to give a beautiful memory to Frans his wife in the form of a Nu Skin condolence/memory book. Frans had many faces over the years. What started as a distant Dutch colleague, a strict developer with a peculiar character, quickly grew into so much more. A curious techy with an endless hunger for knowledge, a problem solver, a tinkerer, a crazy bapao import agent, a tuning expert, a slot car racer, an unstoppable commitment, an ever helpful, loyal teamplayer, an emotional open book (can I say emotional compass for half the team?), an endless conversation (with good and bad timings :)), a very playful mind ( again with good and bad timings :)), the list goes on… all driven by genuine good intentions, embracing and inclusive… When traveling together for such a long time Frans' growth mindset leaves a lasting impression. Not merely reinventing himself technically when we switched systems or he switched roles… also on a softer level it's been a pleasure to see Frans learn new ways of dealing with people, situations… And with great success, Frans leaves an entire community touched these days. As he's done for us so many times during our days at the office he again forms a magical dot of glue reconnecting colleagues and friends that have drifted in different directions over the years. Each treasuring moments of the ride we shared together… Frans, it's surreal we now ride on without you. It's been both an honor and a pleasure, your caring playfulness will be missed! To Jacqueline, family and friends: a sincere thank you for all those moments Frans was able to spend with us in professional context. The obvious 9-5, the extra committed overtime he considered part of his routine… and all those times when Frans lost his "off button". The (extra) time spent with his work community made a world of difference all across the globe, both in professional excellence and in hearts touched. Dankjewel!
