Ernie was one of life's good guys and it has been a pleasure to have known him. He will be sorely missed at our annual Thorney Live Charity Music Festival where he gave his time for free working on the stage and behind the sound desk. I have fond memories of days and evenings out with Ernie, mainly with the Motor City Vipers and various local festivals working together. Ernie had an immense knowledge of sound and lighting and could fix anything giving it the 'Ernie Montero Touch'! A true gentleman, thank you for being my friend.
